Freq Out is our students' take on the classic variety show. It abandons the typical sketch/short/musical act format in favor of a multimedia spectacle, where video transitions into live performance, and performers interact with the audience and technology. Today, everything in our life has an online component, whether it's Facebook, Hulu, Twitter or just plain ol' Google, and whether it's on your iPad, iPod or your phone. Freq Out is a variety show that wants to celebrate that fact, while also poking some fun at it. Freq Out is written, produced, and directed by students from the Columbia College Television Department!
